We are seeking an individual to lead the children of Christ the King Methodist Church of Huntsville to grow in their understanding of God and the Wesleyan expressions of Christian faith.

Requirements

·       A college degree is preferred but work experience can be substituted

·       Must live an active, authentic, and well-grounded Christian faith and be familiar with Wesleyan theology

·       Knowledge of the Bible

·       Possess a proven ability to work effectively with children

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Must have relationship and leadership skills necessary to work effectively with parents, volunteers and other staff members

·       Must be willing to be active in the community, in schools, and other areas where children and their families are involved  

Compensation

·       Part-time, salaried position

·       Insurance, retirement, and paid time off benefits available.  

·       Training/Continuing Education as approved by the SPRC.
