In the weeks since our Annual Conference gathering, I continue to reflect with gratitude and awe on the movement of the Holy Spirit among us-especially during the historic signing of partnership agreements with our brothers and sisters from the Panama and Tanzania Conferences. What we witnessed was not just ceremony; it was a commitment to walk together in mission, ministry, and mutual encouragement as one truly Global Methodist Church. That's why I want to personally invite you to our upcoming International Partnership Training Event on Saturday, August 9.
This one-day training will equip you with practical tools and Spirit-led vision to build meaningful, lasting partnerships across cultures whether your church is already engaged in global missions or just beginning to pray about your next faithful step. We'll hear stories from the field, learn best practices for global engagement, and explore ways the Lord is calling us to participate in His mission beyond our own communities.
Whether you're a pastor, a mission team member or a lay person who the Lord has stirred with a heart for global mission, let's not miss this opportunity to learn, grow, and dream together. I believe each one of our 394 local churches has a vital role to play in this global movement of scriptural holiness. It's what Jesus calls us to in the Great Commission (Matt 28:19-20).
