New Equipping Elders Announced

Greetings Trinity Family,

One of the great joys of serving in leadership is seeing the ways in which the Holy Spirit is equipping us for ministry in a new season of growth and vitality across our family of churches in Eastern Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas.

For as much progress as we've made in strengthening our connection during the last three years, I can tell you with certainty that we are just getting started in raising-up clergy and lay leaders for effective ministry within the local church.

Today marks an exciting step forward for the Trinity Conference as we officially announce the first three clergy who will serve in the newly created role of Equipping Elder. Each of these leaders has a proven record of fruitfulness in ministry and brings distinct gifts that will bless churches across our Conference:

Rev. Clark Atkins will serve as an Equipping Elder in the Arkansas East, Arkansas West, and Red River Areas of our Conference.
Rev. Enid Henderson will serve as an Equipping Elder in the Sam Houston, Coastal Plains, Sabine, and Pelican Areas.
Rev. Brad McKenzie will serve as Equipping Elder for the Brazos, Lakes, Piney Woods, and Bayou Areas.
