Church/Charge Conference season is upon us, and we are ready to equip you with the tools you will need to complete the paperwork process for your church.
Once your Presiding Elder has scheduled your meeting day, the toolbox below will lead your church through the process. To get started, download both basic forms and review their content. One outlines the steps to create and complete the report. The other is the Agenda report package itself. These may be all you need. Please note that part-time churches may modify the agenda to customize their reporting based on their leadership structure.
If you want to know more about each report, the chart references the paragraphs of the BODD so that you may examine the requirements in depth. The report formats themselves can vary from church generated to those we recommend in the next section. There we included recommended forms for the Board of Trustees, Finance, and the Pastor’s Report if your church would like to consider using these standardized options. There are two required electronic forms: one for clergy/minister compensation reporting and the other to report clergy candidates, if any, recommended by your SPRC in the last year. Live hyperlinks to these two forms are found in the agenda. The supplemental forms we provided are there as helpful tools to facilitate additional reporting as your church chooses.
